Newman Properties, Inc. was founded by native and lifelong New Yorker, and real estate veteran Russell Newman, in 1990. The company was born of a desire to bring a more personalized and superior level of real estate service to clients in the New York Metro area.
Russell’s personal experience as a renter and co-op/condo owner complemented his professional expertise in onsite/offsite leasing and sales, collaborating with developers from preconstruction to completion, and heading up the largest brokerage company in New York City until Newman Properties was formed.
The Newman team has come to enjoy a respected reputation and specialize in all aspects of residential real estate – from full-service brokerage to full-spectrum residential property consulting and management for developers and building owners.
We’ve built this reputation not just on stellar track record, but on our ingenuity, innovation and insightfulness that have been finely honed throughout the years, and in the face of changing markets.
In our tenure we have grown as a company, and individually as well, partaking in New York living in all its phases, from singlehood to marriage, raising kids and empty nesters. And we never forget about our dogs, who are also a big part of the family!
